ROBEAST sans Outlines

I was looking through some old files tonight, and found this. It’s from a ROBEAST piece I did in 2002 and finally got around to filling in 2003. I can’t currently locate the outlines for it, but I have them in a binder somewhere. I’ll post them alongside this image when I find them. Back then, when Tower Records was still around, I’d veg in the graf’ section and look for anything i could find from Zedz and Delta because of how everything they did was mecha (particularly Gundam) inspired. (You really can’t go wrong with anime, manga, and mecha inspired art.) When it comes to graf’ and the way I draw my letters, I owe a lot of my style to them. It doesn’t really find it’s way into my designs anymore, but I’m still on a mission to Gundamize the world.

Not a politician, but…

I’ve been on the campaign trail since March, just not for SD. Here’s what I’ve been working on through Emagine with Crotty Consulting and Ambitious Creative. We won 3 out of 4 races.
